The Foundation is funded by a number committed bilateral, multilateral and private donors with the following objectives;

• To collect and make available funds for the African Training and Management Services ("ATMS") project, a United Nations Development Programme ("UNDP) project for Enterprise management and capacity building.
• To make available – in collaboration with and through AMSCO – management expertise to enterprises in various African Countries as well as management and training development programmes within African countries.
• To lend or grant monies to the enterprises to enable them enter into management agreements.

The Foundation also supports AMSCO in delivering on its developmental impact objectives.
