 Yves Alain Epangue

Group CEO & Managing Director

Yves Alain Epangue was previously the AMSCO Managing Director for Francophone Africa, prior to being appointed Group CEO. He has a wealth of experience in managing profit centres, cross-functional teams and multi-country operations. Over the past 20 years, he has held various management positions within international companies across Africa, in highly competitive industries and business environment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, a Post-graduate degree (PhD cycle) in International Marketing and Trade from ESSEC Business School in Douala and HEC Montréal, as well as a Leadership Development Program Diploma from Indian School of Business.

Richard Barasa

Head of Finance

Richard Barasa joined AMSCO as an Accountant and rose to the role of Finance Manager in charge of the finance department. He is an experienced professional in accounting and financial management. As Head of Finance he is in charge of aligning financial initiatives to achieve strategic objectives of the organisation by developing and implementing financial processes and controls, analysis and reporting and business decisions support. He is also in charge of managing the ATMS Foundation and development programmes audits. Richard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Country Managing Director – Anglophone West Africa

Eno-Obong Amelia Edet joined AMSCO in 2006 as a Project Officer responsible for Nigeria before being promoted to Senior Project Officer in 2010. In her current capacity as Head of Operations – Anglophone West Africa she is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for AMSCO’s operation in the region. Eno holds an MBA (Finance and Accounts) from Ambrose Ali University in Nigeria and MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

JUDITH LORIKA Country Managing Director – East Africa

Judith Lorika

Country Managing Director – East Africa

Judith Lorika first joined AMSCO as a Project Officer for the East Africa region. She has wide experience in enterprise development, value-chain management and project management. Prior to joining AMSCO Judith worked at Technoserve Kenya, assisting with various value-chain initiatives in the coffee and dairy sectors. She holds an MBA (Strategic Management) from the Africa Nazarene University in Kenya, a BA degree in Economics from Makerere University in Uganda and a Diploma in Business Administration (by Association of Business Executives- UK).

Mashall Makamanzi

Head of Business Development & Marketing

Mashall joined AMSCO in April 2017 as Operations Manager for Development Advisory Solutions and brings more than 22 years’ experience in the retail and health services industries within sub-Saharan Africa. He worked for OK Zimbabwe and CFI Retail in both internal audit and Operations Management roles before spending more than 8 years in Operations and Project Grant Management for HIV prevention at CareWorks. Mashall holds an MBA (Strategic Management & Corporate Governance) and B-Tech Management Degree both from the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (USA).

Helia Nsthandoca

Country Managing Director – Mozambique

Hélia joined AMSCO in October 2013 as Project Officer for Lusophone countries, where she was in charge of managing and growing the portfolio in Angola and Mozambique, in 2016 Hélia became Development Adviser Specialist for the same region, having to expand operations in Cape Verde. Currently she is Country Managing Director for Mozambique, overseeing other Lusophone countries. She brings 18 years working experience in international development, focusing in financial inclusion and SME’s business management. Hélia’s experience spans from leading the setup of a fully licensed Microfinance bank, providing consulting services for donors implementing Microfinance projects, consulting to SME’s and management to credit management of SME’s. Hélia holds a Masters in Microfinance and a Degree in Economics (Business Management Specialization), and a specialization in entrepreneurship, she is also part of the Microfinance Association. Hélia is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and Italian.

Country Managing Director – Zambia

Lomiah Nhongo has a wealth of experience in project/programme management, maximizing an organization’s communications, resource deployment and managing stakeholder relationships thus improving service delivery and achieving company objectives. In her current capacity as Country Managing Director-Zambia, her aspiration is to drive company strategy to fulfil the vision of AMSCO Advisory Services Zambia Ltd at becoming the leading authority in Human Resource Advisory in Zambia by 2021. She holds an MBA from Webster University, London and a BBA from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Atcho Florence Olga Vangah

Head of Legal & Risk and Company Secretary

Atcho Florence Olga Vangah joined AMSCO in November 2016 as Legal & Risk Officer before being promoted to Legal & Risk Manager in 2018. Prior to joining AMSCO she was the Head of Credit in DHL Global Forwarding Sub Sahara Africa Region. In her current capacity as Head of Legal & Risk and Company Secretary for the Group, she is responsible for Legal, Risk and Compliance related matters of the Company and performs company Secretarial function as well.  – Florence holds a Master degree in Corporate and Private Law from the University of Kuban of Krasnodar in Russia, she has more than 15 years of experience in credit and risk management and is an associate member of the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa (IRMSA).
